1999 yılında Toronto, Kanada'da kar amacı gütmeyen kurum (non-profit organization) olarak kurulan Royal Canadian Institute of International Studies (RCIIS), Languages Canada ve Kanada Göçmenlik Bürosu tarafından onaylı bir eğitim kurumudur. Toronto’daki dil okulu öğrencileri tarafından yapılan anketlerde 2016, 2017, 2018 ve 2019 yıllarında Toronto’da en iyi dil okulu; 2009, 2010, 2012, 2016, 2017 ve 2018 yıllarında en iyi iş eğitimi okulu; 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 ve 2019 yıllarında en iyi konuşma eğitimi veren okul, 2018 yılında en iyi IELTS hazırlık okulu ünvanlarına layık görülmüştür.
Online eğitim ve karma programları ile Türk öğrenciler derslere evinin rahatlığında Kanada’da sınıftaki öğrencilerle beraber katılabilmekte ve bu programlar sonucunda sertifika alabilmektedir.
“Yaparak Öğrenme – Learning by Doing” ilkesi ile öğrencilere İngilizceyi aktif ve etkin bir şekilde öğretmeyi amaçlayan RCIIS’te Stage Technique Accent Reduction (STAR) kursu, drama ve sahne teknikleri kullanılarak tasarlanmış, telaffuz konusunda gelişme göstermek isteyen öğrenciler için özel hazırlanmış ve RCIIS’te en çok talep gören kurstur. Standart ve yoğun genel İngilizce programları haricinde, konuşma kursları, ileri düzey akademik yazım ve tartışma kursları, üniversiteye geçiş programları, IELTS sınavı hazırlık ve iş İngilizcesi programları bulunmaktadır.
RCIIS’te Türk öğrenci sayısı yılın herhangi bir zamanında her zaman yüzde 10’un altındadır. Türk öğrencisi oranı son beş yılda yüzde 4’ün altında olmuştur.
