Hello! I am Ali and I was one of the Step-Up interns who started his Henkel journey in 2019. When I had 6 months until my graduation, I became part of Henkel family as Production Intern. Now I’m working as Support Engineer for a Global SAP revision project in Industrial Engineering department. As one of the members of Henkel family, I have learnt not only business life but I also experienced to be part of a team, to work as friends and to success together. After a long and challenging journey at METU as an Industrial Engineering student, it is priceless to work in such a respected company with experienced, successful and qualified team members.
My Henkel career started in January 2015 as Sales Representative and continued my career development by taking different customer responsibilities in Modern and Traditional channels in various positions within Sales department. Currently, as Jr. Key Account Manager, I’m responsible for discount markets. At the beginning of my career, I was desiring to work in a global company that is at the leader position in its market. After I started to work at Henkel, I realized that besides all of these features, the company supports the career development of the employee and has an inclusive, innovative, diverse and employee-centric culture. In conclusion, Henkel is a company where you can benefit both yourself & your company working with pleasure.

I graduated from Koç University Industrial Engineering in 2018. And I'm part of the Henkel family since then! During Graduate Development Program (GDP) process, which I participated in I had the opportunity to work in the various departments. In this process, the interactive trainings organized by the HR team, your project groups created by independent teams and the presentations you make at the board of directors increase your heart rate and open completely different doors that you have not heard before. Henkel is a school that sheds light on being you - supports you to spread your light and hosts the book club & social responsibility projects that you are eagerly awaiting meetings.

I am continuing my adventure at Henkel as full-time employee in Customer Services department of Adhesive Technologies business unit by continuously developing myself after this productive program.
My journey at Henkel started with the longterm internship program. During 1 year, I had the chance to work on various projects conducted on several IT areas such as infrastructure development, audit and digital tranformation. I’ve been working as Infrastructure System Engineer for nearly 1 year. For me, working in a company like Henkel, which has strong and influential position in the industry, a mission to create value for its communities and a deep-rooted corporate culture, means to see all challenges as an opportunity to learn and to continuously improve. Working in such a company that believes in its people and provides all kinds of support to unlock their true potential is inspiring to make an impact in the society we live in.
