USP Bioprocess Junior Scientists

Job Description: 

Perform bioprocess development, scale-up & production of therapeutic proteins / Biosimilar (mAbs, enzymes, glycoproteins) from animal cells lines (CHO, SP20, NSO, BHK etc.)

USP Bioprocess Development (Shake flask handling,  bioreactor handling with the given range: 15 mL ,250 mL ,2L ,5L,10L & 50L scales ), USP Optimization with screening and Characterization studies using DOE, Scale-up/Scale-down of different USP processes including Cell Culture Harvesting.

Analyzing and solving problems in Production & QC, lead experimental strategy, problem characterization, data acquisition and analysis.

Supporting Quality Assurance on writing SOPs for instruments and process, writing protocols and reports, writing Batch process records ,Lab note books and preparing Technology transfer documents.

Supporting project teams on writing innovative projects for Turkey and International Collaborations.

Desired Skills and Experience

PhD/ M.Sc or equivalent degree in Bio-process / Biochemical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent professional experience in an industrial setting.

We are looking for 2-7 years of experience in USP process development or a related role in an industrial setting.

Hands-on experience in Cell Line Development, USP bioprocess development, Bio manufacturing and project management skills in related areas.

Experience in Process Characterisation and Validation.

Further requirements include a team player with strong communication, established presentation and scientific/technical writing skills, good management skills with respect to planning, tracking, priority setting and adherence to project timelines.

Familiarity with state-of-the-art experimental design approaches to support process optimization is advantageous,

Experience in a GMP regulated environment and working multiple products is an advantage.

Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
