Events Specialist

This role is to support the Central EEMEA Marketing Team with the execution of strategies, projects and daily activities including educational events, internal meetings and carrying out day-to-day administrative functions to achieve the teams objectives.

Key Activities & Accountabilities  

  • Professional Education Support to assist in the development and execution of EEMEA education programs including –
  • Collaboration with different functions fore the organisation and implementations of the educational events
  • Working with Education Managers to consolidate the needs assessment projections of the countries
  • Working with compliance to get all compliance approvals in a timely manner, including faculty agreements, Lcat approvals and following CCD procedures when required, Needs Assessemtn platform maintainance on HQ level
  • Working with Strykers preferred suppliers list to maintain course Logistics suhc as hotels, transfers, delegate lists, meal arrangements, welcome packs etc
  • Working with the Finance team for vender creations, purchase orders, payments and crosscharges
  • Working with the customer service team and kits team to ensure timely shipment (delivery & return) of the course kits whilst maintaining Central Marketing Demo list maintainence
  • Marketing & Administration support to work with the education team to help reach the marketing goals and objectives
  • Undertaking daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
  • Assisting in creation of promotional materials and coordinating with suppliers the production of promotional items
  • Keeping EEMEA HQ materials and kit lists up to date and manage local inventories
  • Manage all elements to include venue, compliance, event delivery, payments, review and follow up
  • Build and maintain relationships with other Functions while driving leverage opportunities across the area
  • Take responsibility for operation costs and cost management with the expectionat of driving cost down within flight bookings and a strong focus on event timelines
  • Ensure all budgets are checked and monitored on a regular basis – reporting back to the Lead Marketing Director
  • Deal directly with sales/product maangers in relation to Franchise event reviews on a regular basis

Education

  • Project management would be desirable
  • Fluency in English is essential

Experience  As above, indicate the length and type of experience required to perform this job satisfactorily.

  • 3-5 years experience in events organising including customer facing
  • Working knowledge of UK and EEMEA Compliance guidelines
